First Move Down Golf
Swing

When it comes to golfing, there are just about as many types of
swings as there are golfers with almost every golfer having
their own and unique stature about the perfect swing and while
some are great, others are left for the weekend enthusiast and
hopes that no one is standing on the next green over. The first
move down swing needs to be flawless, and it is this part of
the swing that is almost the same for any golfer.
In dealing with the mechanics of the golf swing, there are a
number of important stages which include the address,
backswing, transition, downswing, contact and follow through.
The first move down golf swing needs to be perfect basically
before the downswing is even started as it is the downswing in
which the golfer develops the necessary torque that when
contact with the ball is made, send it soaring to the
green.
The movements associated with a golf swing need to be fluid and
not look like a robot is performing them. As each stage of the
swing unfolds, the mind is doing millions of tiny calculations
and aligning the club to the hole, not the ball. In the swing
itself, hitting the ball should just be a course of the action
and not the goal of the swing. Anyone swinging a golf club
should be swinging it in such a way that it is perfectly
aligned with the hole and the actual contact occurs simply
because the ball is there.
From the transition stage to the follow through, the entire
thing should be one fluid movement and should be made as if the
ball is not there at all. When too much focus is placed on the
contact with the ball, it is in this that causes golfers to
hold the grip too tightly which results I a slice. The first
move down golf swing should focus on this fluid movement with
just the golfer and the club. There should be no need for an
actual ball during the practice of swinging as hitting the ball
is just an act of coincidence since it will be sitting on the
tee when you swing the club. Remember, that the first move down
swing is about a fluid movement and the torque created when the
swing starts and the weight of the body is shifted from one
side to another and should continue on through the deceleration
of the swing or follow through.
