Golf Swing
Tips

For anyone who plays golf, improving one’s swing is one of the
most important things to make sure that you can drive the ball
as far and as straight as possible which as a result improves
one’s overall score in a round of golf. Many people turn to
golf swing tips which can help them to improve on their
swing.
It is important to keep in mind that the length of the golf
club means that the club itself should be doing the most work
and your job is simply to guide and aim the club in the right
direction as well as manner to ensure a good drive occurs. The
whole process starts simply with the address or set-up right
before you even swing.
Make sure that your stance is fairly wide; but not too wide.
Your stance should aid in the transfer of weight without the
loss of balance throughout the entire swing. With the club in
your hands and standing perpendicular to the ground and the
ball being slightly to the front of the club head, you are
ready to start the swing.
Make sure that when you are gripping the club that your hands
are also relaxed, you want to make sure that you are really
only holding onto the club just enough to prevent the club from
flying out of your hands during the swing.
With your golf swing triangle at the ready which is composed of
your shoulders and the butt of the club making up the corners
of the triangle, you are ready to start your backswing. Do not
let your elbows bend for the most part of the back swing. As
you bring the club back, you want to keep this triangle the
same size and shape until your front arm is parallel with the
ground.
By the time your arm is parallel with the ground, your wrists
should be bent slightly so as to allow the club to be once
again perpendicular with the ground. On the start of the
downswing, make like it is a race with against the butt and
head of the club. For most of the race the butt of the club
should be forward of the rest of the club, but at the last
second, the head of the club breaks forward and beats the rest
of the club to make contact with the ball. This results in the
right contact with the ball that will send it soaring
straight.
